Job Summary
We are looking for reliable and self-sufficient delivery drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for taking customer orders, packaging their food and delivering it to customers. Our ideal team member would be able to work both independently and within a team to transport food to our customers safely and in a timely manner. Flexible schedules. Hourly + tips.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a driver, you will be responsible for answering phones and taking orders while at the restaurant. You will need to politely and professionally help the customer with their order, then receive proper payment for all transactions according to China City standards. The driver will also be responsible for coordinating with other team members to arrange orders that must be fulfilled. You will package food following health and safety standards and deliver it to the customers given address. The driver is also responsible for daily and closing side work.
Must have day, evening and weekend availabilities for driver position.
No experience required, but preference will be given to applicants with restaurant or delivery experience.
Duties & Responsibilities: Learn and demonstrate a thorough understanding of food and menu offerings, become familiar with menu items and talk to guests in a manner that creates interest and enthusiasm.
Be a team player who enjoys working with coworkers and customers of all ages and backgrounds. Ideal candidate must be friendly, outgoing, quick learner and efficient under pressure.
Coordinate with other drivers and kitchen team to ensure delivery tickets are cooked and delivered in a timely manner.
Package all food and verify all items are present before leaving the restaurant.
Must be able to maintain a clean workstation at all times.
Must have a valid drivers license and be legally licensed to drive. This job will include a check of applicants driving record.
21 years or older
Work includes standing, walking for prolonged periods of time without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, frequent lifting, and occasional heavy lifting, along with continuous interaction with guests and co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
