The Market at Anacortes is seeking a talented and creative Cake decorator to join our team. If you have a passion for turning cakes into edible works of art, we invite you to join our bakery team
As the Cake decorator, your primary responsibilities would include:
- Cake decorating
- Assist customers with their cake orders, addressing inquiries and concerns
- Provide great customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Adhere to food safety regulations
To be a great Cake decorator at The Markets, you should have
- Minimum of one year in a retail bakery department.
- Minimum of one year cake decorating experience in a retail environment.
- Knowledge of scratch bakery items.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to be self-motivated, creative and work with limited direct supervision.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Current Food Handler card.
