PE / Project Manager Position - Drive Growth and Structure in Our Expanding Branch
Become a key leader as an experienced Engineering Project Manager, spearheading and directing civil engineering projects from initial planning to final construction within our rapidly growing branch office. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, outstanding leadership skills, the aptitude to efficiently manage multiple projects, and exceptional interpersonal skills essential for leading focused client meetings to forge a crystal-clear understanding of project scope and expectations.
Your Impact:
Take ownership to manage and oversee civil engineering projects through all stages of permitting and construction, guaranteeing their timely and on-budget completion, exceeding client and regulatory specifications.
Drive the creation of impactful engineering plans, reports, and design documents, strategically delegating tasks between our Arlington and Bellingham teams to maximize efficiency and project momentum.
Engage directly with clients in the field and guide walk-in prospects in our office, playing a pivotal role in clarifying the critical path to achieving successful outcomes.
Act as a key communicator with regulatory agencies, external consultants, and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and a reputation for project wins.
Apply your expertise to perform crucial hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, underpinning sound engineering solutions.
Empower and mentor junior engineers through dedicated training, providing invaluable technical guidance and fostering their professional advancement.
Strategically monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring optimal performance and impactful results.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, upholding the highest standards of excellence and safety.
Contribute actively to business development initiatives, including the development of compelling proposals and the cultivation of strong, lasting client relationships.
Other Duties:
This exciting position will involve occasional site visits and valuable time spent in the field, bringing you directly to the heart of our projects. Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus in private land development and site design.
PE license within the state of Washington (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Western Washington civil engineering principles, design standards, and permitting processes.
Proficiency in civil engineering design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, WWHM2012, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively collaborate in a hybrid working environment and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Salary:
$90,000 to $125,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we are offering for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and business or organizational needs.
