The open floor model allows for greater visibility, patient safety, and supports our team nursing approach. Doctors, Nurses, ED Techs, and Social Workers collaborate to provide our patients with the best in emergency care. Critical patients can be transferred and received by helicopter with a helipad located on the hospital rooftop. We are certified by the Joint Commission as a Cardiac and Stroke Center and are designated as a Level III Trauma Center with 2 private bays for providing critical care. The front end process includes 6 Fast track and 5 triage rooms with assigned doctors and nurses to support rapid assessment and treatment. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing(BSN) preferred
0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience
Licensure and Certifications
Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure
compact.
Basic life support is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing
bodies and certifications include the following: American HeartAssociation: Basic Life Support.
