We are looking to hire a heavy-duty diesel (Class 8) technician, to work in our clean indoor shop in Tacoma, Washington. We operate 2016 - 2022 Peterbilt, KW, & Volvo petroleum tanker trucks. This position is a day shift with a Monday through Friday schedule with shared nights & weekends on call.
The applicant must possess a valid license with a good driving record and own the required tools to perform the needed repairs. And be capable of diagnosing and repairing engines (Cummins and Volvo training/experience), power trains, chassis, suspension and brakes, electrical and AC systems, and occasional tire work. Of course, having tank experience is a plus, and having your CDL with hazmat & tanker endorsements pays more.
