Who We Are

The Landall Group, LLC is hiring an experienced Lead Painter/Drywaller to join our team, which plays an essential role in our organization. It is a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to manage time wisely, prioritize, and multitask. Lead teams in paint, drywall, and minor carpentry repair. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and be able to assume a key leadership position within the company. Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines is essential.

Your Role:

As a Lead Painter / Drywaller, you will assist in leading a dynamic team and ensure operational excellence in all aspects of our projects.

Requirements

Execute painting tasks using various techniques and tools, ensuring adherence to project specifications.

Ability to make all texture matches and smooth wall finish.

Ability to lift and hang 8 ft of 5/8 drywall independently.

Ability to prepare surfaces for painting by taping, masking, cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer as needed.

Ability to set containment areas to shied work areas and protect customers' homes.

Ability to sheetrock up to an entire room, flood cuts, and blend texture.

Work quickly and with quality—fast, efficient, and clean work habits.

Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to maintain quality standards.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; perform minor repairs.

Supervise and lead a team to ensure efficient workflow and quality craft.

Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure cohesive project execution.

Effective communication skills

Work independently with minimal supervision and cohesively within a team

Provide excellent customer service

Responding to change orders

Close out jobs ensuring that all punch list items have been completed

Reliable Transportation

Successful background checkclean driving records

Successful Candidate is/has

Proven experience in construction painting/drywall with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Proficient in painting and drywall techniques and equipment following industry standards and trends.

Proficient in interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.

Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively.

Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)

Training and mentorship skills; fostering skill development within a team.

Leadership

Excellent Judgment skills- quick thinker, problem-solver, and innovating

Understanding customer requirements

Excellent Communicator

Self-starter, Reliable, and Responsible

Professional, tactful, organized, detail-oriented, and excellent Time-Management techniques.

Experience with construction estimating is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques is a plus but not necessary.
