We have an immediate opening for a Trainee Mechanic, even handy man type experience is a plus.
This learning position will be responsible for performing basic service, minor repairs and preventative maintenance to assist senior mechanics.
We are looking for a high energy individual with mechanical interest, who will learn to solve problems and build their skills.
Required Qualifications:
Must have your own basic tools
Must be able to lift moderate to heavy weight.
MUST BE WILLING TO LEARN
Experience/ Skills that you will be expected to gain:
Experience in truck and/or large equipment repair and maintenance
Preventative Maintenance
Air Conditioning
Brakes and Suspension
Electrical
Good mechanical skills including experience in diagnostics and problem-solving
Understanding of repair and maintenance services processes and procedures
Good concept of priorities as they relate to repairs
Willingness to learn and share experience with others.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
A good sense of humor
