We are a growing electrical contracting company, and we’re looking for a skilled 02 Journeyman Electrician and an ON-CALL 01 Journeyman Electrician to join our team and contribute to our long-term growth.
Position Overview: We seek a 02 Journeyman Electrician experienced in new construction, custom residential remodels, and all types of service work. The 01 Journeyman is experienced with small commercial projects and can be available as needed. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to work independently or within a team, committed to meeting schedule deadlines, and eager to grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rough-in and trim-out work for new construction and remodel projects.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including panel swaps, service upgrades, and rewires.
Conduct electrical inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code compliance.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project timelines.
Guide and Mentor Apprentices.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Deliver excellent customer service and represent Devaney Electric Company professionally.
Qualifications:
Must have a current Journeyman Electrician license with the State of Washington.
Minimum of 2+ years in a residential or commercial electrical setting.
Valid WA state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Tools: Must own a basic set of hand tools, a code book, and some cordless tools.
Skills: Ability to read and carry out instructions, work with hand/power tools and electronic testing equipment.
Attributes: Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team, motivated, positive, and eager to learn.
Benefits:
7500.00 Sign-on bonus for new hires. Payment is structured to reward commitment, with increments at 60 days, 6 months, and 1 year.
