Mercer Builders is a high-end custom residential builder seeking an experienced Project Engineer to help deliver exceptional homes. In this role, you’ll work closely with project managers, superintendents, architects, and other key team members to ensure projects are executed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate schedules, track budgets, manage RFIs and submittals, oversee project documentation, and provide on-site support as needed. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, field experience, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to maintain project schedules and budgets.
-Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
-Ensure seamless communication between clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
-Monitor field progress to ensure adherence to plans, timelines, and quality standards.
-Provide hands-on support in the field when necessary.
Qualifications:
-At least 10 years of experience in high-end residential construction.
-Deep understanding of luxury residential building practices, scheduling, and budgeting.
-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
