G.A. Jorgensen Co. is located in Pacific and has been operating around the Puget Sound since 1979, providing satisfaction to our residential and commercial clients with our Asphalt Services (i.e. Asphalt Repair/Installation, Crack Filling, Sealcoating) and Concrete Services (Ext. Curbing Repair/Installation, Sidewalk Repair, Wheelstop Manufacturing).We're currently in search for an Outside Sales Estimator to join our Office Team with the following qualifications and skillsets:

Previous experience in Road Construction or Asphalt Paving Industry

(STRONGLY preferred, but not required)

Strong Communication (In Person, and Telephone Etiquette), Relationship/Rapport Building, and Sales Skills

Intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth, VUE360 Software and/or BlueBeam Software

Attention to Detail and Strong Organizational Skills

Ability to handle and recall multiple projects during discussions or in an organized fashion.

The responsibilities of our Outside Sales Estimator are as follows:

Drive around Puget Sound. Target Facilities/Business in need of Asphalt work.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and clients

Discuss with clients on the phone and in-person for their project needs (i.e. site walkthroughs or visitations of projects going out to bid)

Contact vendors for pricing on proper material and cost estimation for product(s) or services we are to be supplying.

Analyze required documents and blueprints to gain a thorough understanding of online-takeoffs/public work projects.

Prepare quotes, varying types of projects including commercial, residential, public works, and online take-offs.

Manage and Follow-up with bids to compile/record detailed cost analysis

Ability to support and assist managing projects from bid phase leading into billing.

All candidates for this position will be subject to an initial interview and an interview with the Owner of the Company. Candidates will also be subject to a background check, pre-employment verification, and must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Schedule: 8 hours, Mon-Fri, 7:30a-4:00p
