BOLD Low Voltage is a low voltage electrical contractor specializing in new construction multifamily residential construction projects. BOLD Low Voltage installs Fire Alarm, Access control, IP Video / CCTV and Telecom Systems. BOLD Low Voltage also completes Fire Alarm Test and Inspect, and Fire Alarm Service and Monitoring as well as completing Fire Alarm building annuals.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Washington State EL-06 Electrical License. (preferred)
Extensive Knowledge in CCTV & Access Control installation. (required)
Valid driver’s license/reliable transportation. Company vehicle is included in this position must meet company’s insurance guidelines. (required)
Ability to train and oversee potential apprentices. (required)
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. (required)
Strong communication skills verbal and written. (required)
Ability to communicate with clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers. (required)
Extensive knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards. (required)
Programming and Commissioning CCTV & Access Control systems. (required)
Experience in IP Video (required) (preferred systems: Avigilon, Vivotek, etc)
Experience in Visitor Entry Systems (preferred) (preferred systems: Door King, Butterfly, Comlit etc)
Ability to problem solve independently and work through complex critical thinking pathways to provide solutions to the service calls. (required)
Is highly organized and detailed oriented to document service calls meet compliance requirements. (required)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Testing and labeling of wires and connectors.
Ability to unriddle others work.
Diagnosing and replacing devices and hardware.
Ability to go into a service call with limited knowledge or data of a known issue and independently diagnose the root cause, propose how to fix the issue, and properly communicate to on-site staff the stage of repair.
Termination of wiring (Cat 5e/6/6A, Coax, 14/2, 18/2 etc.).
Terminations of CCTV, Access Control, and Visitor Entry Systems.
Installing support structures for solutions (Racks, J-Hooks, conduits, etc.).
Maintain a professional positive relationship with the customer and pass on needed information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.
Read and interpret various blueprints, diagrams, and submittals.
Additional experience with fire alarm systems (preferred).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Duties include the use of a ladder.
May be asked to perform tasks that require long periods of standing, sitting, bending, twisting or reaching above the shoulders.
May include driving to and from multiple service calls in one day.
Repeated use of power tools.
Ability to climb and descend stairs repeatedly throughout the workday.
Candidate will need to frequently lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs.
Geographical Area:
As a “Puget Sound” employee you will be asked to complete service work from Marysville area to Tacoma area.
PRE HIRE REQUIREMENTS:
Clean background check
Clean drug screening
Valid WA driver's license and good driving record

8-hour shift (standard)
10-hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime
COMPENSATION:
Full Time Employment.
$35-$50/hr. depending on experience
