Job Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled lead electrician to take charge of electrical projects and mentor our team. Our crew currently includes three members, including Tucker, the owner and Electrical Administrator. This role is ideal for someone passionate about teaching and willing to help our team gain the skills to become licensed 02 electricians. Additionally, experience or interest in carpentry is a plus, as we value versatile team members who share our love of learning new skills.
As the lead electrician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality electrical services for residential projects while guiding and instructing electrical trainees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform estimates for electrical work
- Teach and mentor electrical trainees to build their skills toward licensing.
- Perform electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, outlets, and panels, for residential projects.
-Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently and safely.
-Upgrade and replace electrical systems, such as breaker panels, outlets, and fixtures.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions and explaining work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience quoting electrical services to clients
- Valid electrician’s license in Washington State.
- Proven experience in residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and teaching skills.
- Experience or interest in carpentry is a bonus.
- Valid Divers license and reliable transportation
