Role Overview
We’re looking for a versatile, skilled tradesperson to lead hands-on work in carpentry, painting/finishing, and fabrication. You’ll take ownership of shop and onsite work, ensuring each project meets our standards for quality and creativity.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of woodworking, painting, and fabrication tasks for various projects
Read and interpret drawings, plans, and shop sketches
Prep, paint, stain, and finish wood, metal, and other materials
Operate woodworking and fabrication tools safely and efficiently
Coordinate with the Project Manager to meet timelines and budgets
Mentor and oversee assistants/apprentices when assigned
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean workspace
Qualifications
5+ years experience in carpentry, fabrication, and finishing
Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and shop safety
Ability to work independently and solve problems on the fly
Eye for detail and a commitment to quality
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites
Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods
Bonus: Welding experience, scenic painting, or set-building background
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($28–$35/hr)
