Responsibilities
Perform various carpentry tasks such as framing, finishing, and installing fixtures, doors, windows, siding, cabinets, flooring, siding, molding, and other tasks associated with new construction and remodeling projects, while also guiding the work of others.
Collaborate with team members and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
Effectively delegate to the team while coordinating budgetary time efficiencies.
Strong communication skills and comfortable being the main point of contact onsite between the Project Manager, team members, and client.
Daily record keeping and documentation, to ensure that daily logs are completed.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
5+ years of residential remodeling or new construction and proven experience and skills listed in the above responsibilities.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
Strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
Excellent attention to detail and precision.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when required.
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - either van or truck.
Must have hand and power tools
Detail-oriented with a drive to provide exceptional craftsmanship.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work well on a team or independently
A drive to demonstrate your expertise as a team member and leader.
