We are Hosanna Construction Inc. and are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator for assisting in the completion of construction. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. Typical projects range from commercial sitework and utilities, plating, foundation excavations, utility repair and extensions, land clearing, heavy hauling and land development.
Candidates must be motivated self-starters with reliable transportation and communication.
Responsibilities
Report to site Forman onsite on a scheduled dispatch on time.
Communicate with site Forman for dispatching and attendance.
Adhere to direction given by Forman and Superintendents regarding work and safety.
Assist in onsite production operations in the placement and construction of building materials.
Trenching mainline utilities on grade
Assist installing shoring systems in open excavations and trenches
Safe Handling of onsite aggregates and materials
Excavation and establishing set elevations
Comprehension of Trimble Earthworks for establishing grades, offsets, and limitations
Requirements
Reliable transportation and communication
Ability to lift up to 80lbs
Strong work ethic
Ability to set up rotary laser and read rod/grade hop.
Knowledge of rigging and lifting procedures and hand signals
Knowledge of safe trench excavation WAC Part (N)
Knowledge of Trimble Earthworks
Medical / Dental after 90 days
