Immediate opening for an experienced Fleet Mechanic for a large, well established Landscape Company in Snohomish County.
Responsibilities for this position include preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing regular and some diesel engines for an approximate 30 vehicle fleet. Also responsible for the maintenance and repair of dump trucks, trailers, medium duty vehicles, skid steer, compressor, excavator and tractor.
Knowledge of small engine repair and maintenance for landscape equipment such as mowers, blowers, trimmers etc.
Applicants must have:
Minimum of 5 years experience
Knowledge of hydraulics, engines, transmissions, differentials, air brakes, running gear etc. on various types of equipment
Ability to operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose problems
Repair and ensure that repairs are performed accurately
Understand DOT inspection requirements
Have a current valid drivers license
Own tools to perform minor and major repairs (we have the basic tools)
Ability and motivation to work independently
We have a full shop with a lift and compressor
Shift:
Tuesday-Saturday 6:30-3:30
