Experienced Screen Printer – Pork Chop Screen Printing (Seattle, WA)
We’ve reopened our listing and are now specifically looking for an experienced Screen Printer to join the team at Pork Chop Screen Printing. This is a fast-paced, quality-driven shop with a small team. We’re looking for someone reliable who can jump right into production with minimal training. Applicants must have at least 2 years of professional screen printing experience and be confident running jobs independently (see skills list below).
Skills needed:
1. Pre-Press & Screen Prep
-Coating, exposing, and washing screens
-Ensuring proper mesh counts & emulsion types for each job
-Using exposure units and understanding film output/RIP software
-Taping screens and prepping
-Verifying screen tension with a tensiometer (knowledge preferred)
BONUS: Performing basic to intermediate art separations
2. Ink Mixing & Registration
-Mixing inks to match PMS colors and adjusting for opacity/hand feel
-Registering jobs quickly and accurately
3. Press Operation
-Running manual and/or automatic presses efficiently
-Maintaining registration and consistency throughout print runs
-Executing proper off-contact, flood, and print stroke techniques
-Using underbases, addtives, and specialty equipment appropriately
4. Post-Print Cleanup & Maintenance
-Cleaning equipment and reclaiming screens
-Performing basic press and equipment maintenance
-Keeping your work area organized, clean, and efficient
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
-DTG printing experience
-RIP software & Spyder proficiency
-Troubleshooting issues on the fly
-Ablitly to learn new skills
-Comfortable in a creative, shop with tight turnarounds

Schedule: We are open Monday to Friday, and work either a 4 or 5 day work week.
