Local family-owned collision repair facility seeking perfect fit for office position. Willing to train.
Duties include but not limited to:
Greet visitors and welcome customers as they arrive at the auto body shop with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills and organization.
Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing accurate information regarding our services.
Manage incoming phone calls and screen or forward calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
Taking messages or scheduling appointments.
Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Assist customers in completing necessary paperwork, including authorization documents.
Provide administrative support for various administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing the flow of paperwork and bookkeeping within the body shop. This includes accurately documenting repair orders, invoices, and insurance claims. Maintain organized records to ensure easy accessibility and retrieval of information.
Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records accurately.
Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Some administrative support experience.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork and customer information.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Professional and friendly demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Punctuality and reliability are essential for this position.
Knowledge of auto body repairs and terminology is a plus.
