We are seeking a Building Forensic Specialist with 7+ years’ experience in the building enclosure-related field for projects including, but not limited to, exterior enclosure remediation for low-rise wood framed, masonry, commercial, and high-rise mixed-use buildings.
Join our unique organization of construction professionals by putting your construction experience to work in a consulting role. This position offers a balance of both field and office time. As a Building Forensic Specialist, you will develop and utilize your technical skills assisting Construction Managers, Architects and Engineers with building investigations, testing, photo documentation, and reporting. You will assist with the development of repair scope documents, analysis and resolution of construction claims, and oversight during repair projects.
We are a unique organization that brings together professional Architects (both new and experienced) alongside seasoned Construction Managers and Structural Engineers to provide a holistic solution to Building Enclosure Design and Remediation.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:
7+ years’ experience in the building enclosure-related field.
Strong work ethic.
Knowledge and familiarity with building science concepts and terminology.
Bosun Chair experience and/or training (window washer and/or construction experience; however, we are willing to train).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to speak in front of others.
Work independently and as a part of a team.
Reliable automobile and valid driver’s license.

Salary range is $80,000-$95,000 for full-time employment at our office. We are located in Downtown Seattle.
