Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Collision Paint Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle paint prep, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to auto body paint preparation. This role requires attention to detail, some technical background, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs on damaged vehicles, including but not limited to tear down and reassembly
- Masking, priming and sanding of vehicles to prepare for the painter
- Utilize hand tools and equipment
- Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Provide detailed documentation of repairs performed for customer records.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Paint Prepper or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and other machinery related to auto body repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and techniques.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification or training in auto body repair is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour - Hourly Position DOE

Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift
