We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent work part time, 6-12 hours a week, with us. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for our properties in Tacoma, 3 properties, about 30 units. There is also the possibility to take on properties north of Tacoma if more hours are desired. Role will be to set up online adds for units, respond to calls and emails to set up showings to lease apartments, while ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants and adhering to Fair Housing regulations. Some time on weekends will be required for showings, as this is one of the best times to show for prospective tenants. This role requires strong customer service skills, administrative capabilities, and a keen understanding of property management software.
Bonuses: $500-$50 above hourly rate for new move in depending on time unit has been vacant.
Responsibilities:
Maintain rental listings On Zillow, Craigslist, Appfolio
Help come up with rental rates for new apartments
Set up showings
Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, applications, and lease agreements through data entry.
Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address tenant concerns and ensure properties are well-kept.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Previous experience in leasing, sales, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks.
Familiarity with Appfolio a plus.
Proficiency in customer service practices and relationship management.
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential.
