This position is located at The UPS Store retail location and is NOT associated with UPS Corporation as a driver or hub employee. We are seeking a Center Associate with a strong focus on customer service, shipping, printing, and marketing skills. The ideal candidate is dedicated, motivated, and looking for a long-term commitment in a fast-paced retail environment.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (flexible)
Some weekends: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM (as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide world-class service by engaging with customers, identifying their needs, and offering solutions.
Shipping and Packaging: Process packages for courier shipment, including weighing, labeling, and handling large/heavy packages (up to 70 lbs).
Printing and Office Services: Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and other office devices.
Sales and Marketing: Promote The UPS Store’s products and services, offering accurate information and best-value options.
Retail Operations: Open and close the store, ensure cleanliness and organization, stock shelves, and monitor inventory for reordering.
Productivity Management: Take initiative to manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
General housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Post-high school education (GED, college coursework, or degree).
Prior experience with The UPS Store or similar businesses (preferred but not required).
Experience in shipping, printing, office supplies or similar services.
Strong computer and internet skills.
Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
A friendly, helpful demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and a commitment to learning all aspects of the business.
