Big Dawg Records is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Store Manager to lead our team and enhance the music experience for our customers. Located in Bainbridge Island WA, Big Dawg Records is a hub for vinyl enthusiasts and music lovers alike.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the record store
Manage inventory, including cataloging and pricing records
Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
Train and supervise staff to uphold store policies and procedures
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain stock levels and variety
Stay informed about music trends and assist customers with music recommendations
Requirements:
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a music or record store environment
Strong knowledge and passion for music genres and vinyl records
Ability to effectively manage inventory and perform cataloging and pricing tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities and team-building skills
Availability to work up to 30hrs per week, Wednesday through Sunday, 11am to 6pm
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail management or music-related fields is a plus
