The Purple Store (yes, the store that sells purple things) invites you to apply with us!
In the style of Pike Place Market businesses, we'd love some help cajoling customers in the door. We're looking for a brand ambassador or two to be just outside our doorway or walking the market, inviting them into The Purple Store
When it's less busy outside, you'll be helping with luggage storage check-ins (we store luggage for the day), stock receiving, store resetting, or other organizing projects.
Your main job will be inviting customers in.
— 2-5 days per week on Thursdays through Mondays, esp. Saturdays and Sundays
— 4-8 hrs per day
— Probably a seasonal position for the summer but there could be a match for ongoing work. If you prefer shorter, such as 1-2 months, please let us know.
— Possible longer term part-time projects if things line up.
We'd love some help if you
are both genuine and VERY outgoing
can present as a good ambassador for the store (you don't have to be a purple fan, but solid and likable)
are reliable and trustworthy
get along really well with others at work
can stay calm and drama free in a busy environment
are stable, drug free, drama free, etc.
can show up looking presentable for the public and our customers
