I am a Property Manager.
I manage 7 buildings with 158 units of mainly apartments, some office spaces, and retails spaces. We have a small 8 unit apartment building under construction.
I seek one or two Property Managers or Office Managers to help me manage this portfolio. We do not have on-site managers at our properties.
Our office is on Mercer Island. Our properties range in size from 16 units to 44 units. Our properties are located approximately 45 minutes or less driving time from Mercer Island.
This is a 1099 position. Please be ready to contribute a minimum of 40 hours a week to this position. I work over the weekend as needed, and I would expect the same from you.
Your duties would include the following:
1) Advertise and show our vacant units;
2) Ensure we have up to date documents and leases;
3) Assist bookkeeper as needed;
4) Attend to emergencies 24/7;
5) Periodic inspections of our properties;
6) Meet with contractors;
7) Manage our maintenance technician;
8) Inspect any work being perfumed at our properties;
9) Review/approve invoices for payment; and
10 Maintain excellent relationships with our tenants and residents.
Below is my wish list of your skill set:
1) Some real estate experience.
2) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3) Able to use google docs, or Microsoft Office.
4) Has reliable vehicle.
5) Some knowledge of building maintenance.
6) Diligent.
7) Honest.
8) Positive attitude.

The successful candidate will pass credit/criminal checks, landlord reference checks, which are the same requirements as our tenants. On top of the tenant requirements, you must pass a drug test.
