Rental and Service receptionist/coordinator

We are a Marysville based Heavy construction equipment Rental, Sales and Service Dealer seeking a receptionist/coordinator. We sell, rent, service and transport a wide variety of equipment including excavators, loaders, compaction rollers, dozers and skidsteers. Our primary customer base is contractors.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist with renting equipment, dispatching delivery and pick-up, assist in preparing sales quotes, scheduling and documenting service and maintenance, and most important bring a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet all customers.

Promptly answers all incoming phone calls, assist customers and route calls appropriately. Use customer phone logs.

Promptly forward all new accounts or potential new accounts with LNI report, job description and location to sales representatives or managers.

Processes rental agreements, deposits, damage waivers, pre lien notices, check-ins, checkouts, swaps, rental returns and damages.

Bills all rentals accurately and completely.

Works with shop and yard personnel to prioritize equipment rental needs and required maintenance.

Coordinates daily Driver’s schedules and check driver’s DOT logs and inspections for accuracy and completeness.

Manages physical inventory process at the store.

Work with rental & sales representatives and store manager as needed to fill rental orders and process sales and rentals.

Responsible for working with the Manager, Sales Representatives, and customers on credit policies.

Other duties as assigned.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is mainly in an office setting with occasional noise. Movement around a construction equipment yard and shop with moving trucks and equipment. Occasional driving to deliver parts supplies in company owned pick-up truck.

COMPENSATION

22.00/hr or plus DOE with excellent company paid benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), six paid holidays, paid vacation, and paid sick time.

Experience Required

1 - 2 years: Relevant work experience and/or training and education. Knowledge and/or prior experience in a construction setting a bonus.

Education Required

High School Diploma or GED or better
