This position works directly with housing owners, program participants, and EHA staff to ensure that housing units comply with the federal inspections protocols and EHA policy. This position will work collaboratively with the inspections team to continuously improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide seamless customer service. The ideal candidate will care deeply about our mission and will be a self-starter, exercise independent judgement, learn and explain complex technical requirements, and excel at working with people to resolve disputes. We are looking for a person with a positive attitude, a collaborative mindset, and who is comfortable working with a diverse variety of cultures and viewpoints. People of color, women, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and veterans are encouraged to apply.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma, GED or equivalentTwo years of paid experience performing office work.Two years of paid computer work experience.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF/SKILL IN:Excellent composition, grammar, spelling, and math skills.Proficient use of personal computer and software programs including Office 365 and Yardi.Flexibility in learning new procedures, functions, and tasks.Verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skillsREQUIRED ABILITY TO:Keyboarding/Typing 50 wpmManage time and tasks efficiently with limited supervision.Work professionally with clients, co-workers, and the public.Speak, write and understand English and follow oral and written directions.Proficiently use computer.Perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages.Develop letters, memoranda, and reports using grammatically correct English.Learn new computer applications as needed to perform job functions, for example, database management and report generators.
