Non-profit organization, seeking renaissance man or woman.
We are in need of an administrative assistant to assist our President in overseeing design, construction, and remodeling of a building. Responsibilities include filing, organizing, as well as drafting letters and other documents. You will also be responding to emails and making travel arrangements. You will also assist with the writing and publishing of articles on current events.
You will need to interact with prospective employees, team members, vendors, customers, and potential customers.
You need clerical and office management skills. Proficiency in using MS Office is a must, as well as knowledge of social media tools and strong communication skills. Any other skills are a bonus: familiarity with software, desktop publishing, data management, web design, website maintenance, and more may become part of your daily duties.
It would be beneficial to have a wide range of abilities, especially business acumen and knowledge of the arts, sciences and music. You will be called on to redesign and improve upon projects that require critical thinking, and come up with your own innovative solutions.
College students preferred. Vaccination required. Must be able to work in person in the Seattle area, near Eastlake/Capitol Hill.
