The Vashon Food Bank is hiring for the position of Communications and Volunteer Program
Manager.
The food bank relies on volunteers to deliver programs that help us
achieve our mission to increase the island’s food security and connect people to supporting
resources that help them thrive. We host 80+ volunteers per week and over 250 per year.
This full-time staff position will lead recruitment, scheduling and management of the
volunteer program and play a lead role in maintaining positive community relations by
maintaining the organization’s social media and communications.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, a creative problem-solver, and a superior relationship manager
who is comfortable working with diverse populations.
