Quoting Analyst reporting to Supply Chain
Qualitel is growing rapidly and is adding this senior manufacturing leadership position within the company to manage the growth in the number of teams and shifts. Qualitel is looking for someone that understands lean manufacturing concepts and electronics manufacturing processes to improve Qualitel’s position in high reliability for product quality, delivery, and costs. The following are the position’s key responsibilities and success factors:
Responsibilities:
Prepare and coordinate Requests for Quotations (RFQ’s) for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)
Analyze quotations for content in addition to preparing complete costs analysis
Monitor RFQ completions and resolve costing discrepancies including generation internal BOM’s, uploading for material costing and labor costing
Interfaces with a cross-functional team for support with engineering related processes and products
Perform time studies for manufacturing operations to obtain estimates for costing
Obtain pricing input such as material costs, Engineering development labor estimates, project labor estimates for input on pricing package
Interface with sales and customer to resolve pricing concerns and issues
Watch technology trends and may prepare cost reduction analysis
Success Factors

Develop accurate cost information for labor and/or materials associated with doing quotes
Manage Quoting database to meet customer requirements and communicate as needed for issues/concerns
Work within RFP and proposal deadlines to provide accurate, competitive and profitable pricing
Able to work on multiple projects and all other responsibilities assigned are done on timely manner, complete, and effective
Experience
2-5 years of electronics manufacturing experience
Strong computation skills and analytical skills
Preferred PCBA pricing experience 2-5 years
Understans current Market and competitive pricing
Lean Manufacturing experience required
Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards required
Experience with ISO 13485 experience preferred
BENEFITS:
Salary range: $68K-$75K
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
