Part Time Position Production Assistant
Still Sitting Meditation Supply is looking to hire a production and shipping assistant for our meditation cushion business.
Approximately 15 hours per week, $25/hour.
You will be working in a friendly environment stuffing, cleaning and packing meditation cushions and packaging other meditation supplies for our online store stillsittingdotcom. We believe meditation can change lives and we work to provide our customers with well-crafted supplies that will help and inspire them for years. The job is physical and requires you to be on your feet and be able to lift up to 35lbs.
You will be doing a variety of tasks and you will need to have good attention to detail and work quickly and independently in our centrally located Vashon Island workshop. There is quite a bit of flexibility depending on your needs Monday through Friday.
No sewing is included in this job.
Each work day is different depending on what orders need to be filled. You will mostly be working independently but also as part of a team when the job requires. An employee discount is included.
The duties include:
- Cushion stuffing
- Preparing items for shipment, detailed cleaning and wrapping
- Boxing and shipping products
- Maintaining organized and tidy work area
- Strong attention to detail
- Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
