Ready to be part of something great? We're hiring a full-time Finishing Team Lead in Seattle to join our internationally respected brand. Thrive in a workplace that encourages your growth and excellence.

For your team, You will:

- Communicate key themes and plans to the team.

- Share information from lead huddle discussions with members.

- Monitor cabinet fabrication shop flow rate.

- Ensure the team understands daily goals and requirements.

- Visualize workflow for all team members.

- Define minimum team composition for current flow rate.

- Develop a cell-based approach for continuous improvement.

- Set training goals for team members and engage in professional development.

- Coach team members to enhance their skills and provide leadership opportunities.

- Cultivate a second lead within the team.

- Orient and onboard new employees for smooth integration.

For your Zone, You will:

- Show expertise and precision in applying dye and pigment stains precisely to wood substrates.

- Utilize air-assisted, airless pumps, and HVLP methods for flawless, even clear urethane coatings.

- Showcase proficiency in handling advanced coating technologies to improve overall product quality.

- Have a deep understanding of finishing chemistries, allowing you to mix paint systems accurately by weight or volume.

- Operate spray booths with finesse to ensure optimal conditions for a high-quality finishing process.

- Utilize experience with mixing components and plurals, including Graco 2KS, to consistently achieve excellent results.

Basic Qualifications:

- 2 – 3 years experience leading a team in production or manufacturing

- 3 – 5 years of experience in the building trades.

- Experience with basic hand and power tools

- Be able to lift 25 lb parts.

- Regular hours are 7:30am-4:00pm at our facility in Seattle, WA

Equivalent experience in aerospace/automotive finish work acceptable.
