Due to growth and expansion into our new facility in Arlington, WA we are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Machinist.
Position Overview:
This position will be responsible for operating various machines, maintenance of machines, and assisting others within the department.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all mechanical products are properly assembled/cut
Confirm materials are supplied
Development of legacy and improvements on products
Support Sales Staff
Testing/Qualification
Documentation and reporting’s/drawings
Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and general public.
Warrant all machines are maintained to ensure 100% safety
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Or 1-3 months related experience and/or training
Or Equivalent combination of education and experience
Operation of forklift and vehicles
Moderate experience in manual machining and surface grinding
Training in mechanical and CNC maintenance
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions, technical and procedure manuals, short correspondences, and memos.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and co-workers
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, professional journals, technical procedure, or governmental regulations.
Aptitude to utilize creative and forward-thinking skills.
Understand mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
Ability to interpret bar graphs.
Experience in solving problems and ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Meticulous, detailed, initiative-taking, and self-motivated

Compensation:
Depending on experience and qualifications the hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00 per hour.
