Job Title: Fitter/Welder/Steel Fabrication
Tacoma area steel fabrication shop is looking for a Fitter-Welder with a minimum of 3 yrs experience in the steel fabrication industry.
Qualifications required include basic math skills, ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings. Prepare, assemble and weld structural steel members, embed frames, hand rail and miscellaneous fabrication projects of all types.
Knowledge of, and the ability to safely operate equipment and machinery used during the steel fabrication process is also a must.
Although not required, WABO certification for either GMAW or the FCAW process is a plus, as well as experience with aluminum and or stainless steel.
