CNC Router Programmer/Operator

We are a small but mighty OEM manufacturer who is the originator and innovator of our industry, looking for a F/T skilled operator to ensure our 3 axis CNC flatbed router runs smoothly, producing a variety of HDPE parts every day. We welcome innovation and out of the box thinking and expect our router team member to see components through from the first vision and drawing the part to routing the finished product.

What you need:

Proven skills operating CNC routers for both custom and standard production run components.

Ability to communicate and collaborate with the manufacturing floor and shipping departments on timelines, part designs, and control processes.

Participate in product development reviews to provide feedback on the manufacturability and cost of parts and improve product design.

Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings in decimal and fractional inch units.

Setup, operation, and machine troubleshooting skills.

High attention to detail and documentation.

Solid design experience developing parts from drawings then converting them to working parts, including creating tool paths, tabbing and transferring G-code, creatively using hold-downs, machine setup and maintenance.

Higher level experience using V-Carve or similar CAD/CAM software, and nesting software.

Positive team attitude, willing to take on any other kind of shop duties as needed, from sweeping to packaging, as required to meet the company's ongoing needs.

Work Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the basic functions of this job. While performing these job duties, you are regularly required to walk, stand, talk and hear. You must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

The work environment is a manufacturing area, and may require significant time standing and lifting. There will be regular exposure to loud noise, fumes, dust and moving equipment in the manufacturing area.
