Position: CNC Router Technician
The CNC Operator will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and routing of materials on the CNC router for all types of signage. This position will require you to work and coordinate with all departments within the shop.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Programming cut files into EnRoute software. Including but not limited to knowledge in selecting correct tools and
speeds for cutting materials.
-Measuring and precisely cutting materials involved in the assigned work.
-Using hand, bench and standalone equipment including, but not limited to, sanders, drills, grinders, die grinders, etc.
-Loading and unloading materials from the router table.
-Reading and understanding technical drawings.
-Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
-During times where there are no materials that need to be routed assist production with fabricating and assembling
various types of signage.
-Housekeeping of the CNC area along with all maintenance and repair of the CNC equipment.

-Compensation:
-Starting pay is $24-$32 an hour depending on experience.
-Skills/Qualifications:
-Experience with CNC equipment.
-Experience with EnRoute Software or other similar/applicable cnc router software.
-Knowledge of hand and power tools.
-Ability to read and understand drawings.
-Forklift experience preferred.
-Knowledge and confidence to share while being willing to learn.
-Basic math skills.
-Must be able to read and understand drawings, plans and specs.
-High safety awareness.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Organization.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
-1 year of CNC operation or equivalent education.
-On the job training is available for candidates with a working knowledge of CNC equipment, hand/power tools AND an
ability to work well with written and or verbal directions.
Environment and/or Physical Factors:
-Ability to lift up to 60lbs on a consistent basis.
-Able to alternate between sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
