JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a lateral litigation associate attorney with 2-6 years of experience to join the firm’s dynamic Litigation Group. Candidates must have a proven track record of excellence in legal research, hearings and motions practice, discovery, and practice management. Candidates must also be creative, have high energy, and be able to work well independently as well as in a team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent commercial and residential landlords in landlord/tenant disputes
Represent firm clients in commercial, construction, estate, and other cases
Work independently and collaboratively on multiple cases
Perform legal research and draft memoranda
Draft litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, declarations, and orders
Draft and respond to written discovery, including document review
Take and defend depositions
Attend court appearances (hearings, trials, arbitrations, and appeals)
Negotiate settlements, participate in mediations, and draft settlement documents
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have strong academic credentials, be licensed WSBA members in good standing, and present references for prior work experience.
SALARY RANGE
$125,000 - $155,000 annually depending on experience
