How would you like to work outdoors this summer surrounded by fields of lavender!
Woodinville Lavender is a lavender farm and private event venue. We are looking for a person that can work full time now thru August. The season will start with landscape and general farm maintenance to prepare the venue for the wedding season (June and July). The work will then transition to help with the venue setup and takedown Thursday through Monday (weekends). During wedding season tasks will include work required to keep the property and grounds in immaculate condition.
The ideal candidate skills and abilities
Comfortable being on their feet and able to be active most of the day is essential
Ability to work outside in any weather
Physically fit and able to do heavy work. Ability to lift 60 pounds of weight frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Able to take directions and then self-manage and work independently
Carry and setup tables and chairs for ceremony and dinner
Clean patio, chairs, tables, restroom, and indoor space
Property maintenance:
Skilled with common yard maintenance tools: weeding, rakes, shovels, riding and push mover, edger, line trimmer
Able to work for extended period on hands and knees weeding, edging and working with and around plants
