Summer Event and Camp Support – Part Time with potential for additional hours
This would be a great position for college students looking for summer work.
We are a well-established, medium-sized, family owned, Seattle-based catering business and cooking school that respects its workers, and strives to create a positive experience for all staff. W'ere looking for seasonal workers to support our offsite catered events and kids cook camps.
Must be reliable, responsible, consistent, work efficiently, and able to work independently and with others on a project. The ability to be flexible and switch gears/projects when needed is essential.
Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
Organizing items after caterings (kitchen kits, décor, linens, etc.) Restocking and then moving bins to warehouse. Loading trucks for events.
Training provided. Often, you’ll be working side by side with others on the team.
Must be fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and have the endurance to load/unload a 15-foot box truck full of items working with 1 or more - and ideally the ability to drive the box truck, although not required
Escorting groups from our kid’s camps (with other adults) to the park, during their break. Ensuring the safety of the children.
We MUST do a background check since you will be working with children.
MUST be available Sunday through Thursday. Sunday 10am to 3pm. Monday through Thursday 10am to 2pm. (Park is approximately 90 minutes of the shifts Monday-Thursday.)
Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week. Additional hours MAY be available, dependent on your other skills and experience and our staffing needs.
$23 to $27/hour.
