POSITION SUMMARY: The Crew Chief plays a critical role in leading restoration projects with expertise and efficiency. This position requires demonstrated field experience, leadership ability, and a minimum of Water and Fire IICRC Certifications. The Crew Chief is responsible for accurately scoping Water, Fire, and Mold jobs and coordinating workflow priorities with the Project Controller and Admin team. Adherence to PuroClean Northwest’s documentation procedures and company-specified technologies is essential, along with the ability to train others in their use. This role demands high energy, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with all departments, including VPs, Directors, Managers, and support staff.
POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be willing to obtain Drug cleaning certification (Company-paid training)
Ability to scope and perform jobs without supervision including water, mold, fire/smoke, crawlspace and attic damage. Plan and execute job scope, managing crew labor expectations and ensuring all required job documentation is collected. Manage customer expectations and facilitate conflict resolution or de-escalation when needed.
Experience with biohazard/trauma is a plus.
Must be able to wear full PPE and respirator.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must have a valid WA driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to drive and maintain company vehicles.
Participate in monthly On-Call rotation for after-hours emergency calls.

QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.
Expert in all production processes and production flow. Project Management and / or job optimization skills are critical. Due to the nature of the restoration industry, ability to work weekends and overtime, when necessary.
