Looking for 1 (ONE) person to join a crew of one other person the help with a remodel. I am a General Contractor and working on MY PRIVATE home. I also am an Exec at a Large Company in Seattle so I'm looking for help on Saturdays ONLY. There may be some opportunity to work other days, but I DO NOT want you to count on this.
The work will be hard, physical and require heavy lifting, digging, and building walls and laying pavers. We will also rent and small excavator or skid loader for the bigger jobs that we will both operate. We will also be doing some general construction work like plumbing, electrical, framing, roofing, finished carpentry and so on inside and outside the house, as well as planning, ordering and pick up from local hardware stores. Finally, some of the work will be hauling trash to the transfer station, clean up, and general work that will get you dirty.

IMPORTANT
YOU WILL NOT BE WORKING WITH A COMPANY. You will be working in a PRIVATE residence.
EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED but you must be intelligent, able to follow instructions and provide input if needed, coordinated, a thinker and problem solver, and safety conscious.
If you are a professional or tradesman/woman, this may not be a good fit. I am not looking for skilled labor as the primary requirement but just an extra hand to help finish this project.
I have all the tools needed or will rent those that I don't have. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN TOOLS
We typically work Saturdays (10-4) but may work longer as the weather permits. I work from home so we've occasionally worked other days if our schedules align, but you should NOT count on this happening.
This is at PART TIME Job and should be looked at as supplemental income ONLY. In other words, you should not expect this to be your primary source of income as this will only lead you to either asking for more work OR leaving.
The location is near the Arboretum in Seattle (near the UW or Mont Lake areas). Ideally the closer to the site the better. I've had folks in the past from further away and driving has always become an issue eventually.
Having a vehicle is preferred.
A background check will be done as we are working in my home, so some level of screening is important for both of us. I will provide you with my information.

We will chat initially via GOOGLE CHAT to discuss the project, get to see one another, and help me determine if there is a mutual fit. If you're selected for an interview I will need your Name, EMAIL address and Phone number (I will provide mine as well). You will need an Android or iPhone with your camera enabled.
If the AD is up on Craigslist that means I AM LOOKING. The more information you provide in your reply, the better for me. I tend to get between 50 and 70 replies the first few days and it makes weeding through them easier.
Pay is via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App. I will pay you at the end of the shift. You can download any of these apps for Free if you don't have them.
