●Primary on-site contact for all project needs, check in with the GC daily.
●Set scheduling, monitor attendance and assign project tasks to the crew
●Schedule material deliveries in-line with overall project timeline or reach out to superintendent to help.
●Manage and ensure accountability of subcontractors
●Ensure job site safety compliance and immediately address any safety issues
●Maintain dailies including accurately recording time worked and materials used and send these to superintendent at end of each work day.
●Train laborers to onboard safely and develop into skilled crew members
●Divide scope of work into different stages and evaluate how much labor and materials will be required for each stage with respect to how the project was bid.
●Analyze project plans and assist with layout. Provide clarity for the crew on any questions or issues that arise, work with GC to solve any on site issues or discrepancies.
●Oversee that formwork and/or shoring are erected, supported and dismantled based on engineering designs and drawings.
●Quality Control of all work
●Complete a pre-pour checklist to make sure everything is ready before the delivery of concrete
Make sure company vehicle's and tools are properly maintained and secured.
