JOB OVERVIEW

The Event Operations Worker at Meydenbauer Center is responsible for ensuring the proper event set up, tear down, and high level of cleanliness in the facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Sets up, and removes chairs, tables, pipe and drape, staging, dance floors and other portable equipment for events

Maintains cleanliness during events

Vacuums rooms and empties trash cans

Maintains restrooms during events

Assists in cleaning up after events

QUALIFICATIONS

Like to be on your feet

Comfortable with regularly pushing and pulling heavy equipment

Flexibility and comfort working in a fast-changing environment

Customer service mindset

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works throughout the building and occasionally outside around the building.

POSITION TYPE / WORK SCHEDULE

This is a part- time position. Hours are variable; however, the standard shift is from 2:00 pm – 12:30 am 4 days a week although the schedule may vary due to convention center events. At times, the Event Set Up team will be required to work early mornings, late evenings and holidays.
