Optometric Technician / Optical

Full time position available as an Optometric Technician / Optical help in private South Hill office. We are looking for a friendly, efficient and detail oriented Optometric Technician. The Optometric Technician will be responsible for pre-testing all patients prior to the doctor's exam. All contact lens orders, dispensing and training will also be a part of the Optometric Technician's duties, along with general office duties. Individuals should be extremely detail oriented, calm under pressure and is able to multi-task, grasp nuances of patient and/or customer service, excel in communication and organizational skills, posses efficient computer usage, and time awareness in order to keep the patient flow moving throughout the day.
