We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Dental Assistant to join our wonderful team. As a vital member of our dental practice, you will work alongside our experienced dental professionals to provide exceptional care and support to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others achieve their oral health.

About the office:

We are a multi dentist general practice. Our practice is built on a foundation of exceptional care, a supportive work environment, and a commitment to the well-being of both our patients and our staff. 8 Dental operatories, 6 hygiene rooms, 3 sterilizing rooms, 2 break rooms, and plenty of free off-street parking.

Hours and Days:

Monday 6:30 AM- 4 PM with dentist and another assistant.

Tuesday-Thursday 8 AM- 5 PM with hygienist.

Optional Friday 8 AM-5PM

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures on Monday only.

Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort.

Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

Take digital dental x-rays.

Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices.

Perform office tasks as needed to support the dental team.

You will NOT be asked to write notes, call or schedule patients.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.

X-ray and DA certification/license required.

CPR certification preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in a dental office is a plus but not required.

Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience. $18-$24 per hour DOE
