We have a full-time opening for an outstanding Dental Scheduling Coordinator. We are a well-established, single doctor general/cosmetic dental practice seeking a personable, highly motivated and professional full-time dental scheduling coordinator to join our team. We are a digital office, charts, x-rays and scanner. Our team focuses on mutual respect, family, team work, efficiency, patient care and excellence in dentistry. You need a strong work ethic, great customer service skills, and a healthy positive attitude. A sense of humor is a plus!

Responsibilities Would Be All Aspects of Running the Front Office (not limited to list below):
Maintain a full and productive schedule for the doctor and hygienists
Answer phones and make calls professionally
Welcome patients in the dental office, check patients in for appointments, verify insurance
Schedule and Confirm appointments
Check patients out, schedule necessary treatment, create and present treatment plans and take payments
Manage recare system, work continuing care reports, create letters, make phone calls
Maintain accurate patient records and document in Dentrix
Scan documents, send, receive and input electronic paperwork
Check mail, email, correspond with other offices, respond to patient inquires, utilize modern resources ie: texting, email when appropriate
Be able to work with eAssist (we can train you on this)
Verify and batch daily procedures and complete accurate day sheets
Work well with financial coordinator and cross train to be able to help or cover for each other
Be able/willing to clean a room or bring a patient back and get the appointment started if needed
Assist/help doctor or hygienists when needed
Be able/willing to provide direct and indirect patient care and contribute to make office procedures as smooth as possible
Skills
Dental experience is necessary to do this job, 2 years is preferred
Proven experience as dental scheduling or dental financial coordinator
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Excellent computer skills-experience with Dentrix software is highly preferred
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized, reliable, great attendance and professional
High school diploma, dental assistant experience a plus

We have great hours to help our team to have a good work/life balance. Office hours of patient care: Monday-Thursday 7:15am to 3:15pm
You would typically show up at 6:45am for the morning set up and huddle to prepare for the day. We normally take an hour for lunch. If you are looking for more hours, I am open to discussing what that could look like.
