Basilico Ristorante is seeking a part-time Food Runner and Busser to work Friday and Saturday evenings, with the occasional extra shift when busy or for Holidays or events. The Runner/Busser helps maintain the FOH rail, keeps track of tickets, pre sets tables for the next course, runs food to tables, and helps bus tables. This person must have strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize tasks on the fly. Additionally, because we take great care to safely serve guests with dietary restrictions, it is very important to have attention to detail, know seat placing and be able to differentiate among dishes to ensure that each guest receives the correct plate.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in customer service, and at least 6 months in front of house at a full-service restaurant. This is a great position for people who have been working as hosts or bussers and want the next step up in experience toward becoming a server.
This position pays minimum wage plus 15% of Front of House tips. We also offer 1.5 hours of Sick Leave for every 40 hours worked (higher than the state requirement).
