Via Rosa 11 is looking for a full-time dishwasher to add to our growing, well-skilled team (we have been recently touted as one of the best Italian restaurants in the area!) We are a casual counter-service restaurant, located on Bainbridge Island.The kitchen team is made up of diverse, dynamic cooks and team members who are willing to teach and learn. We are seeking friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.
Job Description:
As the Dishwasher, you will be in charge of cleaning dishes from both our restaurant and production teams. This also includes cleaning the dishwashing station to Health Department standards. Occasionally dishwashers are asked to help pack products for our grab-and-go section of our store. You will be subject to working full-day shifts that will include opening and closing tasks and cleaning.
Job Requirements:
Available to work Thursday through Sunday (11 a.m. earliest, 9 p.m. latest)
Up-to-date Washington Food Handlers Permit
1 to 2 years of working in restaurants, preferred not required
Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant (the ferry and other public modes of transportation are not very reliable in this area)
Positive energy, good attitude, willingness to learn
Ownership of station, willingness to learn items from other stations
Time management skills, you are expected to stay busy
Sense of urgency!
Good hygiene, we operate in an open kitchen
Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours, lift 50+lbs.
