We're hiring a Shift Lead to help guide daily café operations and support the team during high-traffic hours. This role is about more than keeping things on schedule—it’s about setting the tone for service, supporting the team, and ensuring customers leave feeling seen and cared for.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily flow of café operations during assigned shifts
Support and coach baristas, register, and juicer/support roles in real-time
Jump into any position (bar, register, prep, cleaning) as needed
Open or close the café (based on shift), ensuring cleanliness, restock, and cash handling
Maintain product quality and customer service standards
Communicate clearly with management about staffing, supply needs, or customer issues
Hold down the space with calm presence and urgency when it’s busy
Qualifications
6+ months café, food service, or barista experience
Previous leadership or shift lead experience is a plus, but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure
Reliable, self-directed, and team-minded
Comfortable stepping into any role to keep the team moving
