Derby Restaurant (located inside The Shop Clubs) in Sodo, is looking to add to our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking to add one or two more experienced and amazing servers to our team.
The right person/people will bring a positive and upbeat attitude, enjoy being in customer service, detail oriented, and provide nothing but exceptional service to our guests.
Duties:
-Greet customers in a kind, friendly and professional manner
-Properly and accurately take guests orders
-Deliver orders in a quick and timely manner and follow all food safety protocols
-Help team members do the same for their tables, and have an efficient work flow to help the restaurant run smoothly
-Bus tables, help do dishes and stock server stations
-Upsell menu items to elevate guest experience
-Be able to work well within a team setting
-Be able to take direction well from managers
Experience
-Prior experience preferred, however not necessary as we are willing to train the right person
-Currently we are using TOAST, some knowledge would be great however we can train on this
-Customer service experience is a must, be able to communicate respectfully to co-workers and customers
-Strong cash handling experience
-Must work well in a fast paced environment
Job types: Part time, potential to go to full time in the future
Pay: Min + tips, we are in a shared tip pool

Additional info: We host and cater plenty of events every month so there is always an opportunity to pick up hours and work these events. We do partner with a local catering company for these and they range anywhere from 20-1000 people depending on the event.
